Cream of mushroom soup

Ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup unsalted butter
- 8 ounces white or cremini mushrooms
- 1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups vegetable broth or chicken broth
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
Method
- Melt butter in pot and cook mushrooms for 5-7min
- sprinkle 1⁄4 flour and stir until white specks disappear
- slowly pour 2 cups vege broth and 1 cup milk, whisk constantly
- bring to simmer and whisk constantly, Cook until it’s thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, tried parsley, salt, black pepper.
