Savory Dutch baby
Ingredient
Batter
- 3 large eggs
- 2⁄3 cup milk
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1/cup cheese
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1⁄2 cup flower *packed
Filling
- Bacon (any meat)
- Asparagus (or other veges)
Method
- Mix the batter
- In a cast iron pan, cook the Filling. Make sure there is some amount of oil at the bottom.
- Off the heat, pour batter on top of filling
- Oven at 246 degrees C. ~12-13 minutes or until brown and puffed.
- It will poof up then decompress. So to impress, bring to table immediately.
